Scope of Project: New building of a two compartment Class C ro-ro pax as per 98/18/EC Directive, as amended, Stockholm Agreement compliant for Hs=1.5m for trading in the area Igoumenitsa – Corfu Island.

Specific requirements: Side openings in Main Garage-considered open, Double end to moor in ports with shallow waters, separate passenger entrances for both ends with electrical escalators, Main and Lower Garage space with fixed platforms and movable hatch covers, Large passenger saloon areas and open spaces.

Our Engagement: Feasibility Study, Cost Estimation, Full Design and Construction Supervision, Classification and Statutory Certification follow-up.

Our studio was the first in East Mediterranean Sea to design and build a new Class C vessel in accordance with European Directive 98/18/EC and Stockholm Agreement. This innovative design was thought for a major ferries operator in Ionian Sea. The specific requirements of the project were: Side openings in Main Garage so as to be considered open, Double end in order to moor in ports with shallow waters, separate passenger entrances for both ends with electrical escalators, Main and Lower Garage space with fixed platforms and movable hatch ramp covers, Large Saloon areas and Open Spaces for passengers.
